Springtime Foils SUO#196

Hello and Welcome to SUO Challenges.

We love to challenge you with some great inspiration and using Stampin' Up! products only.

Our challenge this time is Spring Has Sprung!  And what could be more perfect than our lovely Springtime Foils DSP that are part of our Sale-a-bration offering until the end of March.

I've chosen to colour the images on one of the sheets using my Stampin' Blends.

The DSP is glossy and so the alcohol marker tends to sit on top rather than soak into the cardstock.

But with the help of the MAGICAL Colour Lifter pen, I was able to achieve some gorgeous blending!!

You can see the build up of colour here.  I used the Light Rich Razzleberry first, then highlighted darker areas with my Dark Rich Razzleberry, and then blended the two together using the Colour Lifter.

With the glorious foil outline, the finished image is just beautiful.

I've added my blooms to the top of the Everyday Jars die cut jar.  The jar is cut from the Champagne Foil DSP (which has carried over from the Holiday Catalogue) and then embossed using the Sale-a-bration Basket Weave Embossing Folder which will also carry over after Sale-a-bration finishes at the end of March.

I've also used another piece of the Springtime Foils DSP for the background piece - along with half a Delicate White Doily.

I just love the greetings from Perennial Birthday, and they have been stamped using Fresh Fig ink to go with the Fresh Fig card base.

I hope you've been inspired!! This is a great challenge topic - we have soooooooo many wonderful floral images for a Spring Has Spring theme!!

So make sure to add your Spring project to our lineup - and make sure you check out the amazing projects from the design team too!!  Just click on the graphic to head to our blog!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
