And sound the trumpets!!! This week, we have a NEW Catalogue!!  The excitement with every new catalogue is just wonderful!!

It really is a very special treat to sit down and enjoy the new ideas, lots of new products, new colours, and new inspiration in every new catalogue.

When I tried to choose something special to kick off our new catalogue CASEING challenge - I stopped at the first page!  I luuuurrrrve the front cover!!!

I've used the wonderful Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut DSP (as per the front cover), sponged it using Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushell, and Gray Granite.

When I took the laser cut DSP off the tissue paper after the sponging, I had some truly beautiful stenciled DSP that I've used for card fronts.

I've put my photo in the centre of the page which mirrors the catalogue title, and then added very similar accents framing the photo.

A lot of the features of the catalogue cover include the awesome Rooted in Nature bundle.  For my page title, I used the lovely die cut from the Under the Sea framelits instead of a card front, and added the lovely leaf elements the same.

I just love the effect of these leaves stamped onto Vellum -

I remember when skeleton leaves where all the rage in crafting years ago, and I really loved them then too!!

My take on the '30 years' element of the catalogue cover, is to add the year stamped in the lovely Make a Difference stamp set.

The tag at the top of the catalogue image became my journalling tag.

I LOVED the catalogue cover, and I'm thrilled with my page too!
Thank you Stampin' Up! again for some amazing inspiration!!

  3. I totally love your scrap page and the attention to detail you have shown. I am so glad you pointed some of them out. I wouldn't have thought to use the fishing net with the rooted in nature but it makes such a lovely addition.
