Colouring Country Lane CTC#199

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

I'm on the team for CASE-ing the Catty

The challenge is to Copy And Share Everything, or Copy And Selectively Edit from the amazing projects illustrated in our Stampin' Up! catalogues - so much inspiration on every page.

This week, we are CASEING from the Country Lane chapter of the Holiday Catalogue - pages 42-47.
My inspiration has come from the card on the top left of the picture........ but in the end it turned out to be completely different!!!  It really is amazing sometimes where your inspiration will lead you!!  But ultimately, that is what CASEING is all about - my selective editing today is pretty huge though!!

I've kept the bunch of flowers imagery on the right side of the card, but I'm so in love with both the jug and the milk tin that I wanted to feature them both!!

Thus, my greeting panel has changed orientation from the original to allow for the jug.  When I was putting it together, I then decided that I wanted to continue the images on the inside as well as the front so I just chopped off half of the front of the card, and used the offcuts for the mounting of the jug image!!!

I've coloured all the images with the beautiful Stampin' Blends and THEN, I sponged over the top with some Champagne Shimmer Mist and ooooohhhh it's sooo sparkly and gorgeous!!!

Some chicken wire and the gorgeously shimmery copper ribbon finish off my card to perfection!

Lastly I added some rhinestones coloured with the Bronze Stampin' Blend and added them into the bouquet of flowers.  Can you see them there hiding?

There are some really lucky ladies who will be making this lovely card at my cardmaking day next weekend!!

Up next for some more AH-maz-ing inspiration is the lovely Rebecca!!  Make sure you hop around the whole team - there's some pretty special projects to share with you!!

We would truely love to see your inspiration from this chapter too!  Check out the projects and then CASE away and add your project to our facebook page!!

Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

  1. It is funny isn't it how a card can take a few twists and turns before you are finished! I love your final card, the fancy fold really suits this set.
