Casing a Layout on page 36 CTC#233

Hello and Welcome to our fun Sunday Night Blog Hop and challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we are using the amazing inspiration offered by our Stampin' Up! catalogues to stimulate our creativity.

This week, the challenge is to CASE a layout from page 36, and I have chosen the little square card at the bottom left as my inspiration to repurpose a 6" x 6" little canvas.

I've covered the whole canvas in a piece of 10" x 10" Pressed Petals DSP - this is my favourite DSP from the new catalogue (today)   I've added the vellum as per the catalogue project and then embellished a greeting from the Praiseworthy Prose stamp set using DSP pieces and a frame from the Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack.  Originally I created the 3D flowers you can see at the sides of my creation, but they were way too BIG for the floral embellishment at the sides of the greeting!!

So, with some fussy cutting from the same DSP I've made some clusters of flowers to complete my layout.

Now I have to find another project to use those lovely large flowers!!

For some more amazing inspiration CASEing our new Catalogue, keep hopping!!  Up next is the stunning Magnolia on Kathryn's CASE.

How about joining in the fun with us?  Flip to page 36 of the catalogue and have fun CASEING a layout and then share it with the whole group on our facebook challenge page.  You don't need to have a blog, just add your photo to our gallery on facebook!!  And, if you don't yet have a catalogue, head to my website and flip through the catalogue online!!

Here's a closer look at some of the products I've used in my project today.  You can purchase these at my online store if you click on the image.

  1. Love that you've upscaled the catty layout so much! Awesome project. Amazing how perfectly that frame from the M&M cards goes with the rest of it - I love it when you can make totally different suites work together, as you have here.
