This week we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration Catalogue.  Our Challenge goes for 2 week, so get out that super cute little catalogue and see what inspires you and join in the fun with our challenge!

My inspiration this week has come from the gorgeous mini heart foil tin on page 11 which I have converted to an Anniversary Card for some dear friends using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I've used the super sweet Heart Punch Pack.with whisper white cardstock and stacked the two hearts.  I've only used Pool Party ink for this card for a soft colour scheme.

The extra splatters come from the Painted Poppies stamp set.  I'm trying to improve my sponging so I'm practicing with a few projects at the moment - this card features sponging on the top heart along with the repeated stamping of the greeting.  I've also sponged in the background (then I wasn't happy with the sponging, so I used an aquapainter and some ink and sploshed a bit more for the background.... so I still need some more practice!!)

It's been a busy week for cards, and I created a special Sympathy card using inspiration from the Sale-a-bration catalogue too, so I thought I'd share that with you as well this week.

I was inspired by this sweet box on page 8 which features the gorgeous Happy Birthday to You stamp.

I've changed up the stamp to the lovely Forever Blossoms image and coloured the same as the catalogue.  I had never thought about putting colour around the edges of the petals - and I think it looks soooo lovely!1

This is a very soft card using Soft Sea Spray for the cardstock and the background stamping, and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends for the flower edges.

For a little catalogue, the Sale-a-bration catalogue really has LOTS to look at and inspire you!  And our whole design has a heap of inspiration for you too!  Make sure you hop around the whole team in the complete circle!!

Up next is Peta and her lovely inspiration from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

When you have created your project inspired by the Sale-a-bration catalogue, add your photo to the lineup on our facebook challenge page here.  We'd love you to join in the fun with us!!

  3. Two gorgeous cards Julia, I love the soft colours you've used. The colour around the edges of the petals does look lovely on the second card.
