CTC#267 Ornate Garden Inspiration

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues!!

For the next 2 weeks, the challenge is to share our inspiration from the Flowers of the NEW Ornate Garden Suite from the upcoming NEW Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. For this month we get to enjoy and purchase one of the Suites EARLY!!  How exciting.  My inspiration comes from the card on the bottom left with the lovely 3 split panel of flowers.

Instead of stamping one image, I've let the Best Dressed DSP do all the work!!  This paper is sooo pretty and it has a marvelous floral theme just like the Ornate Garden Suite.

My layout is very close to the original.  I've used the Country Floral embossing folder for the background which has been spritzed with some champagne shimmer mist and alcohol (seems wrong to be using it for crafting at the moment but the whole bottle is full of sparkly champagne shimmer mist!!)

The greeting was stamped from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set and then heat embossed white and fussy cut.  I've also punched some leaves using the leaf punch and then embossed them with the Country Floral folder and spritzed again.  I just love this layout, and I know that I will be using it again!!

The inside of the card was stamped using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set to create a floral collage reminiscent of the DSP using the same colours - Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive with some Soft Sea Foam for the frame (which comes from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set).

I hope you've been inspired!! Up next on this marvelous blog hop is the awesome Lauren.  Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team to see a whole lot of awesomeness!!!

Please join in the fun with us too and add your project to our facebook challenge page showing your inspiration from the Ornate Garden Suite florals!!
