An Interactive Scropbooking Hop with Global Scrapbooking group

Hello and Welcome to another amazing blog hop with the inspiring Scrapbooking Global group.

This is a group of scrapbookers who use Stampin' Up! products for our pages.

Our theme this month is for an Interactive Page which is awesome!! But a huge challenge for me, as I like to have all my pages safely tucked away in my albums behind plastic to preserve them!!

The designer of this fabulous challenge is the supremely talented Sharni.
Thankyou for the challenge!!

My page features an amazing new Stampin' Up! Suite from our new catalogue called the World Of Good Suite!  I love everything about it and have used quite a lot on my page. My interactive element is a secret pocket behind the main image in the top right corner of my page.

My page celebrates our daughter's Investiture as School Captain earlier this year, but the secret pocket reveals that she ended up at the doctor on the same day and was really sick!!!  This was the perfect way to incorporate the whole story of the day, while still keeping the main event the star of the show on the main part of the page!

I've used 2 new colours on this page - Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight along with the glorious new Brass Foil - swoon!!  These have been included with my usual standby for school scrapping - Night of Navy!!  Having had 4 children through the same school, every year it's a challenge to try other colours as well as the usual Navy!!!

This is our final year of schooling, (our eldest started school in 1999) so I'm incredibly glad the World of Good suite happened along for me to use it for some school pages.

The World of Good Memories and More cards have some fabulous images and sayings for life journeys!!

Up next on this amazing hop is the fabulous Heike from Germany.

The list for all of the blog hop is here:

  3. Congratulations to your daughter! And sorry to hear that she ended up at the doctor on this special day. Your pocket with photo is a perfect way to show both parts of the story.

  6. Oh what a gorgeous page Julia! I love it! And yes a clever idea to show the 'afters' of your poor daughter's special event inside a pocket. I can't wait to play with my World of Good Suite now too! Thanks for the inspiration. x
