Inspiration from the Die section CTC#284

Hello and Welcome to another amazing Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.  Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team for lots of amazing inspiration.

This week, we are CASEING from the Die Bundle section of the Annual Catalogue - pages 173-179.  There are a heap of amazing projects in this section so after a lot of flicking back and forth, I finally decided to CASE the card featuring the Tasteful Touches bundle.

Annual Catalogue  2020-2021 page 179  all images © Stampin' Up! ®

My card is quite similar in layout, but I've used the Forever Greenery Suite using the gorgeous paper, stamp set and dies.

I've also combined the gorgeous Wonder of the Season ribbon combo pack which I think worked quite well.

I tried 2 different designs of the Forever Greenery designer paper - which one is your favourite?

The colours I've used are:  Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  I really love the little touch of the vellum.  I don't think I would have thought of this touch without the inspiration from the catalogue!!

Up next is the wonderful Tina and her amazing card featuring the World of Good suite.

We'd love you to join in the fun with us too!!  Please add your project to our Facebook page here and share your creative inspiration with our group!!

  1. Both cards are lovely! I think you could use this layout with any dsp.

  2. Lovely cards, Julia. It is such a great layout for designer paper and Forever Greenery is so beautiful. The ribbon gives a lovely bright pop under the greeting.

  3. I love the way CASE-ing inspires the little extras, like the vellum for you, in this case (pun intended)! I think I prefer the 2nd paper, but it would be fun to try other DSP to see how they turn out.

  4. Great case. I love how you’ve used the DSP for the background.
