CASEING a sketch CTC#305

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues - CATTY.

This week, we are CASEING the sketch for this little cutie on page 5 of our Sale-a-bration Catalogue which is full of awesome FREEBIES for customers, hostesses and new team members!!

Here's our sketch - quite simple, and a really great way to show off lots of gorgeousness.

I've used the sketch as my starting point for a sweet birthday card featuring the gorgeous Hydrangea Hill paper accompanied by a fabulous stamp set - Happy Thoughts.  This set has a lovely array of greetings AS WELL AS some wonderful stamped greetings for the inside of cards too!

I've fussy cut some of the lovely Hydrangea Hill paper for the extra sweet elements on my card.

My ribbon detail on the front of the card comprises the wonderful Seaside Spray  metallic ribbon and the white ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo pack.  I've layered them over the top of each other to replicate the triple layer on the sketch behind the main image.  I've also softened the main greeting by adding a layer of vellum die cut with the fabulous Stitched Shapes dies.

Up next is the amazing Rebecca with her inspirational project.

I hope you've been super inspired to join in the challenge with us this week!  Add your project photo to the line up on our Facebook challenge page here!!

  1. I’m glad you chose the smaller panel in the middle so it could show off the beautiful DSP. Love the double ribbon to represent the three stripes and you decorated the inside beautifully.

  3. Fabulous card to showcase this gorgeous DSP. I love how the vellum softens the sentiment, very clever.
