Retiring Incolours for Social Stamping

Hello and Welcome to our fun blog hop to celebrate Social Stamping!  This group was formed by the wonderful Kelly Kent to enable us to share and inspire you while we're all still socially distancing.

Click HERE to go to the Host for the list of everyone in the hop (in case you get lost on the way!)  You won't want to miss any of the amazing creations!  This month we are celebrating the retiring In colours - Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile and Purple Posy.

I've paired these lovely colours with the Jar of Flowers stamp set, the Jar punch and also some touches of the Butterfly Wishes stamp set.

I've really gone for a very simple look with my card this time - it's a basic easel card with the jar of flowers featuring as the central element.  I've coloured the flowers with Stampin' Blends and Markers.

The jar was stamped onto vellum using Seaside Spray ink and then punched using the lovely Jar punch.

I've also used the Timeless Label punch and the Butterfly punch for my card.

UP next is the inspiring Lisa

And head to the blog host if you want to check back at any of the amazing projects on our hop this month!!

  1. Oh snap Julia! We both used the Jar of Flowers and an easel card for our design. Great minds think alike! I really like how you have placed your pearls on your card and used all the retiring in colours. So pretty! Mandy x

  3. Such a gorgeous card Julia. Love the simplicity that allows the eye to focus on the jar of flowers. Using the vellum for the jar is inspired. Xxx

  4. You know I love an Easel card, I don't think I've done one quite like this though- what a great effect to have the blossoms sitting up like that- gorgeous. I'll have to give that a go too. Beautiful arrangement to get all the colours in one card.
