Looking at the Subtles family

Hello and Welcome to the amazing Blog Hop prepared by the equally amazing Kelly Kent as a way of keeping us all connected in cardmaking love!!

If you want to see everyone on the blog hop, you can head to the post above to see the list.

The theme this month is the Subtles Colour family from our amazing Stampin' Up! offering.

The colours I've used in my project are:  Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam. Mint Macaron and some Pool Party ribbon.

This is the first card I've made with my new stamp set - Colour and Contour.

I created my own patterned paper by stamping the flowers with Calypso Coral Ink and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.  I then coloured them using Stampin' Blends in Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and a touch of Mint Macaron on the leaves.

The inside continues the theme of the flowers.  There's also some extra stamping with the ink splotch stamp in So Saffron.

I've used the Label Me Fancy and the Rectangle Postage Punches for the title, with a little bit of Pool Party sheer ribbon behind it.  This is quite a simple card, but pretty too!!

Up next is the fabulous and amazing Lou.
Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to see all the amazingness.

  1. I love your crazy daisies Julia. So fun and vibrant. Great layering of ribbon and punch shapes and the splotch works well with to tie the colours together.

  4. Fabulous card, Julia. I love your stamping and colouring - I reckon it could easily pass for a printed patterned paper! I have this set but haven't used it yet. I think I need to change that having seen your card. What an amazing feat to have taken part in every hop. Well done! x
