Hello and Welcome to our Sunday night blog hop and challenge CASEING the CATTY!!
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).
This week, we are CASEING an Animal project from any catalogue.
I found my inspiration on page 4 with the lovely owl tag in the Blackberry Beauty collection.
I have been making a couple of cards featuring a fun concertina fold HERE, and as I had some left over cards from creating my video of the card, I decided that was my starting point to feature the tag!!
This is another card in my week playing with the Eden's Garden Suite!! I've stamped all the images from the Eden's Garden stamp set onto tags cut using the Tailor Made Tags dies. I've used the colours from the Blackberry Beauty paper - Cinnamon Cider, Rich Razzleberry and Gold. I tried to use Polished Pink which is another colour in that suite, but just could NOT do it - so I used Fresh Freesia instead.
The tops of every tag are threaded with the gorgeous gold shimmer ribbon tied with gold cord from the Simply Elegant trim. And the finishing touch are some lovely gold foil butterflies cut using the Brilliant Wings dies. I also flicked a little Bumblebee ink using a water painter for an 'arty' look but this is not easily seen in the photos. The background of the Evening Evergreen card was embossed using the Brick and Mortar embossing folder - to replicate the small design on the tag of the original project.
|UP next is the super awesome Sandra!!|
