Hello and Welcome!
This is a super fun colour challenge featuring some really amazing creative crafters!!
This week, the colours are Blushing Bride, Soft Succulent, Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen with a gorgeous inspiration image!
I was very inspired by the leaves in the inspo picture so grabbed out my Nature's Prints bundle, but in the end I really focussed on the Natural Prints dies mostly!!! My gorgeous card fold is totally inspired by the very creative and amazing Lou and her wonderful project here.
She's definitely a very inspirational cardmaker!
I've die cut the wreath from the Natural Prints dies using Evening Evergreen cardstock and added gorgeous little die cuts using Blushing Bride and Shaded Spruce to add more body to the wreath. My card base in Very Vanilla, and all the panels are embellished with the gorgeous Fern embossing folder which is also part of the gorgeous Sun Prints Suite. I used a blending brush with some Soft Succulent to highlight to gorgeous leaves in the background a little.
The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen and then I used Soft Succulent for the ferns in the background which were 'stamped off' to create a lighter tone of colours. Isn't that gorgeous label die wonderful? It's part of the Natural Prints dies collection too. The lovely opal rounds around the wreath are Soft Succulent. Always love a bit of shine!!
The back of the card features this lovely fern and some blending around the edges using Soft Succulent.
