Monthly Scrapbooking inspiration for you

Hello and Welcoome to Handmade by Julia Quinn!!  

I love scrapbooking our memories and creating ART from our everyday events!!  AND this scrapbooking hop is just PERFECT for motivating me to complete another page!!!  I ALSO have used the parameters of a fun Challenge for this page too.  The criteria was:

2 photos  

3 brights colours

NO designer paper.

Sooooo, my colours are Azure Afternoon, Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist (you will note there are not any pinks or purples from the brights collection for me!! lol)  However, these photos are just perfect for the gorgeous blues and green I've chosen!!!  

I sponged a random swathe of Azure Afternooon using a blending brush from one side of the page to the other as a bit of background for my photos (which are also mounted on Azure Afternoon cardstock)

The splodges look like I've flicked colour - but that's way too terrifying for me!!! So I cheated and used a splodge stamp from Quiet Meadow - winning!!!  So easy and it looks so cool!!

The Lemon Lime Twist cardstock was die cut from the Earthen Textures Dies and the Notes of Nature dies.  The label/title was stamped using the Love this Moment stamp set onto a die cut from the Something Fancy dies.

And the final touch is some Azure Afternoon little embellishments from the Rainbow collection!!
