This week, we are CASEING from our amazing Designer Paper Collection!!
I have some NEW paper - Scenic Scenes and I'm so excited to use it!! I have CASED the fabulous card idea on page 56 of the Annual Catalogue. This page is called Put a Frame on it!! And that is the great starting point for my project - as this paper is just STUNNING!!
I've CASED the same way of creating a title for the card too - using a 2" circle punch for the greeting and adding it into the frame!!
I have ALSO stamped some of the birds from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set ALSO NEW!!
(I do love a flying bird stamp - soooo useful for so many projects!!)
To create the frame I cut 4 pieces of two tone cardstock for the sides and top and bottom at 1/2" wide. The side pieces are stuck onto the card. The top and bottom pieces have a fun mitred corner. I created this by folding over the end of the strip creating an exact diagonal fold that fits perfectly to create the frame!
Inside the card is the remaining side pieces from the beautiful paper (it is 6 inches square so I need to chop off the sides to fit onto a standard card).
