It's all about the DOTS

I'm totally in the groove with my scrapbooking now!!!  

This little page is for the SUO challenge this week which is ALL ABOUT THE DOTS!! Click here for the SUO challenges blog and get some great inspiration and ideas!!

My dots feature in:  the DSP, Carstock, stamping, and punched shapes.

I've used the oh so yummy Best Year Ever DSP (free for Sale-a-bration) and punched some of the gorgeous circle motifs, as well as some coastal cabana punched "dots" too!  I've also used lots of sequin dots along with buttons, and one little circle epoxy dot over the top of some DSP.

My background sheet is some of the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper (another Sale-a-bration freebie), which I have spritzed with some rubbing alcohol and pool party reinker and bemuda bay reinker.  After spritzing, the lovely little embossed dots show up on the background paper too!!

My journalling panel is punched out of the coreboard and stamped with one of the lovely images from Perpetual Calendar Stamp Set.

I have also stamped the lovely dotty stripes down each side of my dotty vellum.  The dots come from Painted Petals stamp set, and the colours are Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana.

Lots of squares

I'm almost at the end of my scrapbooking odyssey!  This page uses the last of my specialty paper Under The Tree.  I've cut it into lots of 3" squares and popped them gridlike all over my page!

My embellishments come from Everything Eleanor stamped and fussy cut to soften all the edges and corners of all those squares!

Lotus Blossom

My favourite FREE stamp set from Sale-a-bration would have to be this lovely lotus blossom stamp set.  I love it's elegance and it's simplicity.  For this card I have basically CASED the Sale-a-bration catalogue idea using the doily and some twine.

My colours are Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana (I think I will REALLY miss this colour when it retires when the annual catalogue ends in June.... along with Baked Brown Sugar)

Vellum and Lace

There are lots of hearts on this page!! I've used the lovely foil vellum as my background over the strawberry slush cardstock.

Then I've used the little heart image from Perpetual Birthday Calendar stampset -  this is such a great stamp set - full of gorgeous images which can be used for all sorts of occasions and stamping!!  I've also used the lovely leaf image from the same stamp set.

I also have some lovely jute ribbon under my motif here.

This page also features some new Painted Blooms Cotton Twine - there are three lovely colours in the pack - soft sky, whisper white and wild wasabi.

Love the herd

If you know me, then you know that one of my favourite things is watercolouring.  And I just love this gorgeous little stamp set with all those fun animals!!

I had a ton of fun colouring in these little guys!!!  They are in the stamp set called From the Herd.

I have also used the greeting from Painted Petals which features some really cool watercolour images too!!  I have used some of the leaves for the background stamping on my crushed curry behind the photos.

My colours on this page are tangerine tango, old olive and crushed curry - and I think they really are very summery colours!!

I love this happy page!!  It must have something to do with the gorgeous children as well as those cute little animals on the tags!!

Sale-a-bration Freebies!!

As part of my epic scrapbooking marathon, I've loved using some of the oh-so-lovely goodies with the Sale-a-bration promotion.  This page features the wonderful Best Year Ever DSP, and the accessory pack - aren't those colours so yummy together!! - Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry (lovely alliteration - did I say that already?)

My stamp set of choice for this page is Amazing Birthday - great fun images for this page!!

I've added some washi tape at the top and bottom of the page along with some fun sequins.

Stapling was fun too - I coloured these staples with the Coastal Cabana blendabilities pen.

The new simply pressed clay alphanumeric mold certainly helps to create great titles for scrapbooking pages!!  Along with the alphabet and all the numerals, the mold includes a heart, star, arrow, ampersand, hash, question mark and exclamation mark.

This page features Lost Lagoon, Basic Black and Vanilla carstock and Inks along with the Choose Happiness stamp set.

Best Day Ever

Now HERE is one of the reasons I have been quiet on the blog front - I've been doing my annual scrapping for a Christmas gift for my sister and family - each year we give each other a 20page book scrapbook of our previous year - and theoretically I should work on the book for the entire year, but somehow I always end up leaving LOTS to the end of the year to catch up!!  (teehee)

This page was such fun to complete! It is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from page 5 of our new Sale-a-bration catalogue starting on January 6th and it showcases all the wonderful Best Year Ever accessories, DSP and stamp set!

The colours are so divine - Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana (how's that for some wonderful alliteration!!) and they work so beautifully together!

You're a Star

I'm loving the spiral border punch and the lovely effect it gives of note paper.  I've used it on the Typeset paper here for the complete 'notebook' look.

I've used the dictionary background stamp set  on my crumb cake paper and then the title comes from the Pictogram Punches stamp set.  I made the lovely starburst by layering two stars over the top of each other and then using the starburst stamp from Amazing Birthday, with the congratulations from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

The little star essentials hardware clip adds a lovely little touch on one of the photos.

Something Borrowed

The Something Borrowed DSP from our new catalogue features some beautifully feminine designs in sahara sand and whisper white.  I have paired it with some Cherry Cobbler ink and the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The lovely Sahara Sand lace trim coordinates beautifully with the Something Borrowed DSP.

My greeting/title comes from the Sweet Laughter stamp set - and I think it works well with the photo of my sister, and mum and I.

Butterfly Basics

Butterfly Basics is one of our beautiful new stamp bundles in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue starting on 5th January.  The coordinating framelits are absolutely gorgeous!

Other accessories on my page include the Simply Pressed Clay and the alphanumeric mold, and the white jute ribbon.

I have used the Best Year Ever DSP in my background (it is one of our lovely Freebies featured in the Sale-a-bration catalogue).

2013 Joy

Every Christmas we take lots of photos of our children and family - and this year these photos have been used as baubles on my Christmas page.

I have also used the lovely Many Merry Stars stamp set from the Extra Christmas Supplement - such a pretty set!!  The title includes some lovely Simply Pressed Clay and the Alphanumeric Mold featured in our upcoming Occasions Catalogue which starts on 5th January!!

My background paper is the wonderful Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP which is offered as one of our FREEBIES in our Sale-a-bration catalogue also starting on 5th January.
