Gift Packaging with the Envelope Punch Board

I've been having a great time making the most of my envelope punch board - making bon-bons.

My bon-bons are made with 6" x 6" paper scored on one side:  1", 1 1/2", 2", 4", 4 1/2 ", 5" and then scored on the other side:  1 1/4", 2 1/2", 3  3/4", 5"

My second box is really gorgeous too - it uses a whole sheet of 12" x 12" paper

And the star box is totally fun too.

The measurements for this one are:

Paper 7" x 10.5"
scored:   2", 4", 6", 8", 10" on the long side
and 1.5", 4.5" and 5.5" on the short side
Use the envelope punch board at the 5.5" measurement line

Enjoy!

Still having fun with my Hearth and Home thinlits - making Christmas windows with a wreath.
I cut up the greeting from one of the Antique Tags stamps and layered it at the top and bottom of the window.... what do you think?

Antique Tags

Freshly Made Sketchs have a lovely clean sketch this week that really appealed to me.  So here is my take on the sketch using Tip Top Taupe and Sahara Sand with Antique Tags stamp set.  I used some of my lovely new white glitter ribbon - doesn't it sparkle beautifully!!  I love the combination of the corrugated cardstock, the sparkle and the Vintage look of the stamping!!   I also added some dazzling details to the stamped tree but it's a bit tricky to see in the photo!!

Reason for the Season Colour Challenge

These amazing colours are so appropriate for Christmas, so I just had to join in the challenge at
The Paper Players this week!

I've used Reason for the Season with it's gorgeous poinsettia, and used my block to stamp with Crushed Curry in the backgrouns for my clean finish.  A little gold glitter ribbon finishes the card.

Oh What Fun - a sketch challenge for GDP

Over at Global Design Project, there is a great sketch challenge this week.

and I've gone all out with my glimmer paper - it is the star of the show!!

I've added some washi tape and ribbon, and then embellished with a greeting from Oh What Fun, and a lovely Christmas Tree punched from the Winter Wonderland Vellum Stack.

I love how the stripes on the tree echo the stripes in the card design!!

Berry Merry and Winter Wonderland Gold Gift Cards

Doesn't Gold and White look so opulent and shiny together?  I had fun making these little gift cards and their coordinating envelopes.

The envelopes are created using the lovely Winter Wonderland Vellum Paper Pack with it's 6" x 6" papers with lots of yummy designs in  gold foil on vellum.

The stamping comes from Berry Merry, and Antique Tags stamped with Soft Suede - which coordinates perfectly with all the gold accents.

I'm also featuring the Winter Wonderland Washi tape across each little card, as well as the bottom corners punched with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

Some gold glimmer paper and gold doilies, and the cards are complete!!

All Ye Faithful in a Pocket Card for SUO!

We're featuring Pocket Cards as a challenge this week on SUO!!

I'm on the team at SUO!

My pocket card is a very simple one - I've used the standard piece of cardstock and simply scored in it thirds rather than in half for a normal card.  On the front third I then halved the card stock diagonally to create a little triangle pocket.

So when you open the card, it is very similar to the usual card opening, but the front panel has this cute little pocket to pop in a bookmark.

I love the idea of a gift-in-a-card-all-together so the pocket card is a super fantastic idea to achieve an all in one card and gift!!

These Antique Tag stamps really give my project the vintage look - especially with some subtle sponging as well with Soft Sky.  And the Home for Christmas DSP works perfectly with my image of the Holy Family from All Ye Faithful.

I hope you are inspired to have a go at creating a pocket card in our challenge this week!!
Simply make your card and link your project back to our SUO Challenges blog to be in the fun!!

Here on CASEing the Catty we love to be inspired by the Catalogue and to share our inspiration with you too - CASE means to Copy And Share Everything!

My inspiration comes from page 26 - I really am very partial to silver and blues for Christmas.
I've used the Project Life Hello December 2015 stamp set for the snow flakes, and the greeting comes from Oh What Fun.

My first card is quite similar to my inspiration card in the Catalogue - I've used Pool Party ink on vellum over the top of the striped foil vellum, and added an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment.

My second card varies a little more - no vellum here, and I've added some Bemuda Bay cardstock and some silver glimmer paper as well as one of those yummy wooden snowflake elements which I've inked with white craft ink.

I'm not sure which is my favourite.... what about you?

Now it's time for you to hop along to see Kathryn's lovely project, and to be inspired again!!
ENJOY!

Dove of Peace in a challenge!!

Global Design Project have a lovely colour challenge this week - in these colours.......

and as my new favourite toy is the Dove of Peace, these colours were featured!!  There's a very small amount of Pear Pizzazz on the leaf, and on the breast of the dove, but I've mostly used the lovely Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight - I have to admit I would never have thought to used these colours together, but don't they look great!!

I think these colours are totally beautiful with this lovely dove - and they give it a very serene finish!!

Gift Tags Inspired by the Holiday Catalogue - CASEing the Catty

This week on CASEing the Catty, we are celebrating Gift Tags!!  So be sure to hop along through all the great ideas from the design team members so that you will be inspired for your Gift giving needs!!  Just click on the graphic for the complete list of blogs, or hop, skip and jump all the way through - settle in for a night of creative sharing!!  Here at CASEing the Catty we love to Copy and Share Everything !

My gift tags have been inspired by the Oh What Fun Gift Tag Kit, but after my journey of creation they look totally different!!!!  I love the silver/white/and blue combination around at Christmas time, so I've swapped in some Mint Macaron instead of blue as a nod to the gift cards in the Kit.

There are a lot of punches used in my tags!!  The Triple Banner Punch (for the flagged ends of the tags), Curvy Corner Trio Punch (for the ribbon), and the Label Bracket and Washi Label punches for the greetings.

And up the top of the tag, on my ribbon I've popped a lovely Iced Rhinestone Embellishments.

Now next up on our Blog Hop Travels is the lovely Kathryn where you will be inspired again!!  Enjoy!!

And if you get totally lost, just click on the CASEing the Catty symbol for the full list of all the design team members.
