Colour INKspiration #79 using Embossing Folders

Hello and Welcome to an amazing colour INKspiration challenge.

This challenge is about using specific colours in your project which have been inspired by some pretty wonderful images!!

The colours this time are incredibly deep!  They are Night of Navy, Merry Merlot, Blackberry Bliss and Pretty Peacock.  I found this combination a CHALLENGE!!  I'm not sure I would ever think to use such strong colours together!!

So after much deliberation, I decided to use a fabulous technique introduced to me by my sister demo Janine.   I've used the Greenery embossing folder duo and embossed 4 pieces of cardstock in each of the colours.

The cardstock pieces measured 8cm x 12cm.  After they were embossed, I then cut each of the panels into quarters and mounted them onto some Whisper White measuring 9cm x 13cm.

This enabled me to create 4 quick cards featuring all colours and different textures!  The greeting was created using the Lovely You bundle which features a super sweet stamp set, AND a coordinating punch that enables you to create 6 different size/shape ends for your greeting tags!!  How cool is that!

I hope you're inspired to give this fun technique a go - it's a brilliant way to create a bunch of cards together!!  When you've made your creation, add it to the lineup on our facebook challenge page HERE
.

If you click on the images, you can see these products in my online store - isn't that punch just awesome!!

Scrapbooking Global Challenge - scrap layout

Hello and Welcome to my contribution for a scrapbooking challenge!!

I get so much inspiration from this amazing group on Facebook.  This month, the challenge is to springboard from the inspiration of this lovely double spread.

I've used this layout to create a double spread featuring the totally gorgeous Forever Greenery paper and the coordinating stamp set Forever Fern.  I've also managed to incorporate the new colour Just Jade at the top of my page.

I've had to adapt my page a little to cater for the different sizes of my photos, and so the paper embellishment is changed to a circle arrangement using Gold Hoops and the Forever Flourishing dies.

The greeting is die cut from black card and the Well Written dies and mounted onto the top of white ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo pack.

There are a lot of different greens on my page!!  The base colour is Old Olive and then I've got a layer of Shaded Spruce topped with the Just Jade.  The embellishment clusters include Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock and Basic Black.

The stamping on the edge of the Just Jade card is from the Forever Fern stamp set and stamped with Shaded Spruce.

My finishing touch is these sweet In-colour enamel dots in the Just Jade.

So, do you think my pages look similar to the challenge?  Having a layout to copy really does help a page to come together more quickly!!

Annual Catalogue 2020-2021 page 1 all images © Stampin' Up! ®

My Project was inspired by the VERY FIRST PAGE!!  Stampin' Up! have shown this gorgeous layout featuring the new Incolours -  Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, and Cinnamon Cider.

I've used the awesome Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards and Envelopes (what a mouthful that is!!) as my card bases - this pack of cards features ALL the new colours with 10 printed cards and envelopes.  Using these made the job so much easier and quicker!!

My next step was then to choose new products to feature with coordinating colours for each of these cards.  The Magenta Madness card features the Flowers for Every Season paper and the Lovely You stamp set.  The Just Jade card features the gorgeous Forever Fern bundle of dies and stamp set.

My Bumblebee card shows off the lovely Jar of Flowers bundle of stamp set and punch, and the Cinnamon Cider card showcases the Beautiful World bundle of stamps and dies.

The Misty Moonlight card features the lovely Tasteful Touches bundle of stamps and dies.

This is my project to showcase a lot of  NEW products and the NEW colours for when I have my Catalogue Launch for the New Catalogue!!  I hope you're inspired too!!

This theme of the New Normal lead me to think about the New House our University children have moved to this year - and so I'm sharing my scrapbook page celebrating their New Home.  My page ALSO features LOTS of New goodies from the New Catalogue!!  Swoon!!

I've used the new Incolours of Bumblebee (aren't my girls so clever to wear their jumpers in JUST the right colour!!! ) and Cinnamon Cider for the background panels, along with a strip of the gorgeous World of Good speciality paper which features the same colours.

I've also featured the GORGEOUS Forever Gold Laser Cut paper for all those stunning leaf embellishments!!  They've been tied together with the lovely Faux Suede Trim and the wonderful gold trim from the Forever Greenery combo trim pack.

The background stamping comes from the wonderful Distinkstive stamp set Forever Fern.  I'm super thrilled with this page!!  And I hope you're inspired too!!
