Whales are animals too!! CTC#276

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASING the animals in our new Catalogue. and I definitely knew I'd be featuring the wonderful Whale of a Time suite for this one!!

Annual Catalogue 2020-2021 page 94  all images © Stampin' Up! ®

I was inspired by the lovely card on the right above, that features a great technique of colouring onto an embossing folder.

Before embossing my Just Jade cardstock I inked up the textured side of the Seabed embossing folder with Whisper White Craft ink, and then ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine - this gives a lovely two toned textured background that works just beautifully for my central panel card.

The inside of the card features a small punched piece of Pool Party for your writing panel.

And the front of the card has images and a greeting from the wonderful Whale Done stamp set.  I just loooove the gorgeous shimmery pool party ribbon that comes with this suite!!!

Up next on our animal hop is the wonderful Michele and her totally adorable Hippo project!!!

We love it when you join in the fun with our challenge too - and what could be more gorgeous than using the animals in our current catalogue as inspiration!!  Add your project to our facebook challenge page here!!

Shabby Chic Bookmark. CI#81

Hello and Welcome to our gorgeous Colour INKspiration Challenge #81.

The Colour INKspiration challenge is inspired by some gorgeous Pinterest images and our amazing array of Stampin' Up! colours.

This time the colours are glorious!  They are Cinnamon Cider (a new Incolour), Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

I've used these colours to create a sweet bookmark.  I've featured the lovely Posted for You stamp set and coordinating Postage Stamp punch, with a little extra interest from the script stamp in the Very Versailles stamp set.

Those cute little birds were coloured using Real Read Stampin' Blends and then Crumb Cake Blends for the branches and leaves.

The bookmarks are punched using our lovely new Fancy Tag Topper punch, and then embellished with the sweet dotty ribbon tied with the braided trim which I've pulled apart for extra texture.

Hopefully you're super inspired now to use these gorgeous colours in your next project - then you can add your photo to our lineup on our Facebook challenge page above!!

Would you like to create this project?  If you purchase the Posted for You bundle AND the Fancy Tag Topper punch THIS month you will earn a voucher in our Bonus Days promotion which gives you a reward to spend NEXT month!! Woohoo!!  Head to my website to find out more now!!

Artistry Sketch Challenge CTC#275

Hello and Welcome to another fabulous Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge with CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week we are CASING a sketch from page 130 which features the stunning Artistry Blooms Suite.  Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team to see lots of amazingness!  Welcome if you've just arrived from the amazing Tina!

I really like this sketch, and I honestly DID use this sketch for my card!!

But it does look a little different!  All the elements are the same, but the proportions differ greatly!!

My Posted for You bundle JUST arrived and I was super keen to start exploring with it - so I wrangled this bundle to somehow fit with the sketch!  So, yes, it's a bit of a stretch for our challenge but I really was inspired by the sketch!!

Inside the card is an extra piece left over from the front of the card.  All the little 'postage' images were coloured using Stampin' Blends.

All of the images on my card come from the same set - isn't it gorgeous!!!

Up next on our hop is the lovely Michelle with her amazing creations using this sketch!!

We love it when you join in the fun of the challenge with us!  Add your photo of your project inspired by this sketch to our Facebook challenge page here!!

Change theme for Social Stamping

Hello and Welcome to another amazing Social Stamping Blog Hop!!  Welcome if you've just arrived from the wonderful Michelle.

This fun hop was started by Kelly Kent as a way for all of us to keep in contact and creatively inspire each other during Social Isolation.  The theme this week is Change and you can see the whole list of participants if you click the image above and head to the Blog Host.

So, for this theme I've 'changed' my style to be totally #simplestamping AND I've used a stamp set designed for a kit and used it with different colours and changed the style..... a bit.....  I think?

The Gorgeous Posies cardmaking kit is STUNNINGLY pretty and I love the coordinating stamp set as much as these gorgeous cards which come preprinted in the kit!!

The colours for my 'changed' card are:  Rococo Rose, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam to create a very soft and sweet card.

The inside is a repeat of the front - and there is nothing else on the card except stamps and ink.

That's a bit of a change for me!!!!!

Up next on our challenging changing blog hop this week is the lovely Elizabeth who always has amazing projects!!

If you get lost on the way, you can head to the Blog Host on the link above to see the list of everyone!!
