CTC#74 - Shine On inspiration!!

Hello again to our Sunday Night Blog Hop, and this week  we hope you enjoy our CASEing of the Shine On Chapter of the Occasions Catalogue - only a few pages BUT, inspiration aplenty!!

I've been inspired by these little guys - and even though they are little and small, it certainly was a challenge to come up with a project just as good!!!

I've made my tags into bookmarks - 'cause I really love a bookmark for a little gift to give to friends.

I've used the great Shine-On paper - and these two bookmarks use the same piece -  each on a different side of the DSP.  

My greeting comes from the Feel Goods stamp set - one of my faves for scrapping and making these sorts of gifts!!

And I've embellished my bookmarks with the lovely Grateful Bunch stamp set and coordinating punch, and some of the Cherry on Top Bermuda Bay washi tape.

CTC#73 - Botanical Gardens inspiration!!

Welcome back to our Sunday Blog Hop - and for this week we are celebrating the wonderful projects in the chapter called Botanical Gardens.


There are only a couple of pages in this chapter, but the projects here are just gorgeous.

I've been inspired by the layout of this gorgeous card at the bottom of page 26.  This card features the gorgeous paper and stamp set in the Botanical Gardens Suite - none of which I own, but that doesn't stop me from loving this card and CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) the wonderful design.

 

As I created this card I found the layout an amazingly easy and useful design and it really makes the design in the DSP be the star of the show!!

I loved it so much,  I created a masculine version of the same card!!

The feminine card features the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet Suite of DSP and coordinating stamp set Birthday Blooms.



My masculine card features the Going Global Suite -  Going Places DSP and Going Global stamp set.

SUO Cute Critters for the Challenge!!!

Isn't this little fellow totally adorable?  He is my card for the challenge this week for SUO.

We are featuring Cute Critters - and I have to admit, this was a CHALLENGE for me!!  So I used the wonderful resources of Pinterest and found a wonderful idea HERE that I have CASED (Copy and Selectively Edited) for our challenge.

For my bird I've used Balloon Celebration as my stamp set - for the clouds and greeting.  And the punches I've used are:  bird builder; tree builder; large oval;  3/4" circle; 1 1/4" circle; and blossom bunch.  You could also add some fun balloons to this card too using our new balloon punch!!

Grateful Bunch CASE

One of the BEST things about our awesome catalogues is the amazing ideas and projects featured.  This card has been CASED straight from our Occasions Catalogue on page 22.

This was also one of our cards at our recent card making class.  If you are interested in creating with a group of lovely like-minded people, be sure to check out my website and calendar of events for my class schedules.  Our next class is on Wednesday 27th April at either 10am or 7pm - and we will be doing projects featuring Heat Embossing.

This week is the LAST WEEK of Sale-a-bration, so we are sharing with you our last CASE for the great Sale-a-bration Catalogue.  For a little catalogue, we sure have had some amazing projects to Copy and Share Everything from!!  I hope you've totally LOVED all the amazing inspiration you've received up to this point, and that you love all the wonderful creative projects we are sharing with you today too!!

  

This week I'm CASEing the lovely card using the What I love stamp set - a fantastic set showcasing our wonderful technique of 3 step stamping.

My colours are Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist with a teeny tiny touch of Cucumber Crush.  I've also added some totally delicious glitter washi tape and some highlights using the gold Wink of Stella pen in the middle of each flower.  My final little embellishment is a bunch of twisted gold metallic thread under the greeting.  Super quick and easy card, AND it looks gorgeous too!! What more can you want?
