CTC#73 - Botanical Gardens inspiration!!

Welcome back to our Sunday Blog Hop - and for this week we are celebrating the wonderful projects in the chapter called Botanical Gardens.

There are only a couple of pages in this chapter, but the projects here are just gorgeous.

I've been inspired by the layout of this gorgeous card at the bottom of page 26.  This card features the gorgeous paper and stamp set in the Botanical Gardens Suite - none of which I own, but that doesn't stop me from loving this card and CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) the wonderful design.

As I created this card I found the layout an amazingly easy and useful design and it really makes the design in the DSP be the star of the show!!

I loved it so much,  I created a masculine version of the same card!!

The feminine card features the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet Suite of DSP and coordinating stamp set Birthday Blooms.

My masculine card features the Going Global Suite -  Going Places DSP and Going Global stamp set.

Now it's time for you to hop along to the next awesome projects - either forward or backward depending on where you've started our blog hop this week!!

And if you've been inspired to have a go yourself this month, simply link your project up to this challenge using the blog link below!!

And if you wish to see a complete list of the design team, you'll find them all here if you click on this graphic!!

Until next Sunday night, happy stamping!!

  1. You've shared two lovely examples of CASE-ing, and I'm glad you did, It shows just how inspiring the catty can be. I'll have to give this a try too.

  2. Oh my see are great. I looked at that layout oo, and I love how they look completely different just using different DSP.
the going global is my fave! Love a good masculine card.

  3. Love both of your cards, Julia. It is a versatile layout and the masculine one is my fave too.

  4. Good choice of card to case Julia. I like both the male and female versions.
    Thanks for sharing both.

  5. I love the birthday blooms dsp and your version of this card. It's great to show how we can case a layout and use different products. And I'll be casing your male card!!
