Tic Tac Toe for Scrapbooking Global Hop - what fun!

Hello and Welcome to our monthly amazing blog hop celebrating Scrapbooking with Stampin' Up! products!

I just love being part of this extraordinary international group and ALWAYS find inspiration every month!

This month Sherry designed a really fun challenge!!  You have to choose 3 items in a row from the Tic Tac Toe board!!  Can you see where I've found my inspiration?

I've gone straight down the middle!!  I've used tags, 3 or more photos and embossing!!

My page features 2 tags created using the Very Best Trio Punch and then embellished with some Texture Chic designer paper, gorgeous glitter washi tape, stunning gold ribbon, sweet Open Leaf Trinkets and stamping from Quiet Meadow in the background.

The amazing titles on my tags come from Amazing Phrasing Sale-a-bration stamp set, and Peaceful Moments.

For the embossing elements I've heat embossed the flowers and splatters from the Quiet Meadow stampset using gold embossing powder. AND I've embossed some of the stunning Rose Gold Foil using the Hive embossing folder.

With the combination of the glitter washi tape, the gold embossing and gold ribbon, and the rose gold foil, my scrap page is full is sparkle and bling!!

The final part of my Tic Tac Toe selection is the 3 photos....... and if you know me, you'll know this is my usual for scrapbooking!!  I always want to use lots of photos on my pages because I think all the photos we take should be included!!

And my final touch to round out all the bling is some gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones.

I hope you keep hopping around everybody!!  Up next is the truely amazing Sherry from Canada.  You'll LOVE her page!

Here is the list of everybody in case you get lost along the way!!

Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop - Congratulations

Hello and Welcome to our Monthly Blog hop with this amazing international group of cardmakers!

This month the theme of our hop is Congratulations - with a special focus on designer paper!!

I was introduced to this gorgeous fold by Nikki and she has the measurements and instructions on her blog post here.  This is a really marvellous way to show off both sides of our gorgeous Stampin' Up! papers.

My card features the lovely Rings of Love designer paper  (Sale-a-bration reward) combined with the Peaceful Moments stamp set and Eden's Garden stamp set.  I've used the colours of the designer paper for my inspiration and stamped using Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink.

I've also used the every useful Bough Punch for extra details under the greeting which is punched using the Lovely Labels punch.

The final touch is some lovely Champagne Rhinestones.

UP next on our hop is the talented Joy.

Here's the list of everybody in the hop in case you get lost along the way!!

Trimming the Tree in our CTC#382 Sketch Challenge

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! Catalogues.  (Catty)

This week, we are CASEING a sketch from our Sale-a-bration catalogue.

This sketch was perfectly timed for when I was exploring with my Trimming the Tree stamp set and a new fold introduced to me by one of my team members - a step card.  Originally I was going to have my main panel to the left as per the sketch, but I just couldn't do it!!  So, even though I DID work with the sketch as my starting point, I actually failed at following it completely!!!

My card also features the gorgeous Boughs of Holly paper and the fun glitter washi tape.  I stamped the greetings using Cherry Cobbler - one of my favourites for Christmas.

I've embellished the tree using Adhesive backed stars and red pearls.  The label for the greeting comes from the lovely Pretty Pillowbox dies.

I was so taken by this fun fold and the general layout of the full length panel that I created a bunch of these cards with differing colours and papers.

This card features the Sale-a-bration gold paper for the background.

This card features the lovely Snowflake vellum specialty paper.

And this one has a combination of the Boughs of Holly paper as well as some of the Sale-a-bration paper.  I created the star on top using strips of the glitter washi tape on a scrap of cardstock which I then die cut using the Sentiment Silhouettes dies - there is a perfect sized star in these dies!!

Which is your favourite?

Make sure you keep hopping.  Up next is the fabulous Peta.
