Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop with a sketch challenge!

Hello and Welcome to our Monthly Blog Hop sharing amazing Stampin' Up! scrapbooking!!

This is actually in an international group of truely inspirational scrappers - you will love their work!

This month, we have a sketch challenge - and I really DO love a sketch challenge!!  It helps make the page fall together soooooo easily!

Our amazing Courtenay is providing our challenge this month - thank for your this great sketch Courtenay!  I had to change the orientation for the photo mat to accommodate my photos, but other than thank, my layout is exactly the same.

My project features my current favourites (well, the last few projects have used these products!!)

As these are photos from a wedding, my first choice was to use the Splendid Thoughts bundle, and then because I'm using it so much, I HAD to add the Apple Harvest bundle (exclusive this month only), and because it's great for background stamping, I've also used Quiet Meadow.

I've stamped using Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam (you know I love greens!!)  All the die cutting was from the totally GORGEOUS glimmer paper in the Mini Catalogue - I've used the Evening Evergreen and the Vanilla sheets.  So so so pretty.  I've also used one of the Delicate Edge dies for the bottom of my photo mat die cut using the Vanilla glimmer paper.

Do you see the gorgeous circle detail behind the photo?  I cut a circle out of the white cardboard in our designer paper packs, and used it as a stencil to sponge some Soft Succulent and create the circle detail.  It's so soft in the background and I love it!

The title element was stamped in Evening Evergreen using Splendid Thoughts and then I punched it out with the Decorative Circle punch, and sponged the edges using a blending brush and Soft Succulent.  The journaling labels come from one of the dies in the Apple Blossoms dies - they look great!

There's lots of background stamping behind all the die cut elements which give the page lovely depth I think!!  What do you think?  Would you like to create a page using this sketch too?

UP next is our hop is the amazing Cheryl from the UK!!  Enjoy!!

Here's the list of everyone in the hop in case you get lost along the way!!

Mango Melody Trimming the Tree Colour INKspiration #129

Hello and Welcome to our fabulous Colour INKspiration Challenge.

Check out these bright colours!!

I really wanted to use my new Trimming the Tree bundle - so I shoehorned these colours into the my Chirstmas Card and created a TOTALLY DIFFERENT Christmas Colour Theme!!!
My Tree is Mango Melody and the die cut decorations from my new bundle are Starry Sky glimmer, Silver and some white glimmer paper.  I've also added some Adhesive Stars.

The white background of my card was embossed using the Merry Melody folder and I've also added some Starry Sky metallic ribbon under the greeting.  The only bit of Basic Gray is the stamping for the greeting!!

Inside shares the same details as the front - without all the tree decorations!!

I love a sketch to help me create!! CTC#386

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogue.

This week, we are CASEING a Sketch from our Mini Catalogue on page 30.

What a great sketch - and so easy to use.  I'm featuring the exclusive to September Tree Trimmings dies which coordinating with the Trimming the Tree stamp set!  You can buy them as a bundle here and save 10%.  What perfect timing to get started on Christmas cardmaking.

I'm using Brushed Metallic paper for the trees and the Stitched Rectangle background along with a piece of the awesome Lights Aglow paper.  The greeting is stamped in Black Memento ink and then die cut with one of the great dies from Trimming the Tree bundle. I've also added gold ribbon and Adhesive stars!!  Easy Peasy.

The inside is a repeat of the details on the front.  Simple but elegant I think!!

UP next is the amazing Rebecca who also created a Christmas Card.

Glittery LOVE CTC#385

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, our challenge is brilliant!!  CASE a glittery project!!  And they are everywhere!

I eventually decided to case the layout of this gift box on page 30 of the Mini Catalogue.  I have actually cased this layout before here.

This time, I've case the layout for the front of a gift envelope that fits some Festive Pearls inside!!  The little envelope measures 14.8cm x 21cm.  I've scored along the long edge at 9.5 & 19cm and at 1cm on the short side to create the pocket base.
I'll make a video showing how I made this packaging - subscribe to my YouTube channel here so you don't miss it!!
The front of the packet features the gorgeous Snowflake Specialty vellum.

I've stamped using Cottage Rose this wonderful greeting onto a die cut label from the Labels Aglow dies using Orchid Oasis ink.  The flowers are also stamped and cut using the Cottage Rose bundle.    I've punched some sweet daisies from the White glimmer paper and the InColour Glimmer paper. The dragonfly was created by using the glitter washi tape.  I taped several strips of washi onto a scrap of white cardstock and then punched using the Dragonfly punch.  The washi tape is also behind the label looking a little like ribbon.  I've tied a bow using Orchid Oasis metallic ribbon.

And my final touch was some gorgeous sequins

Check out my video showing you how I created this cute package!

I hope you keeping hopping!! Up next is the amazing Sandra!
