Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop where we CASE the Catty (Copy and Selectively Edit), and then share with you, hoping you'll be inspired to join our challenge.!!
This week we are CASEing the Sale-a-bration Catalogue - pages 16-19.
And I have been inspired by the gift box on page 18.
My card is an easel card - I love the idea for an easel card - they are so much fun to display!
The design team who create the cards for our catalogue always do an amazing job, and so my card is almost identical to the gift box.
I've added in some Emerald Envy behind the central panel, and for the anchor for the easel.
And now it's time for you to continue your hop to the awesome work of Jackie.
Please feel welcome to join in our challenge - you can use this link to head to our facebook page and join in the fun!
For the complete list of the design team, you can head over to our CASEing the CATTY blog and see the list of all projects.
See you next Sunday!!
We used the same inspiration Julia - but have completely different CASEd projects. This is why I love CTC!!! Your easel card is great! Kelly xReplyDelete
Thank you Kelly. I totally agree! I love your case too. I'm always amazed at the wonderful creativity in our group. So inspirational.Delete
Always a fan of an Easel card Julia. Yours is a great CASE. the t shirt is so cute and your sentiments are perfect. Love the blue backgournd strip - is that DSP or did you stamp it yourself?ReplyDelete
The blue background is such a cool idea. Gotta love the Stampin Up designers! It's the button panel from Custom Tee stamped repeatedly to create a patterned piece of card.Delete
Excellent Case Julia! Love your card and the layout!ReplyDelete
Thank you Mel, I'm having a love affair with easel cards at the moment!! teeeheeDelete
Great idea to create an easel card, that makes a fantastic birthday cardReplyDelete
Thank you Kathryn, Yes I agree - easel cards are great!Delete
Would you mind sharing your measurements for your card? I really do like this card. It was very creatively of you to think outside the box when you stamp. I wish I did this more often. TFSReplyDelete
Hello Gloria, Thankyou for your question. Yes I'm happy to share measurements. The white base card is an A4 piece cut in half lengthwise at 10 1/2 cm, and then scored along the long side at 14 1/2 cm and 22cm to create the easel. Emerald envy cut 13cm x 9cm. Soft sky cut at 12 1/2 cm x 8 1/2 cm. I hope this helps you. The dapper denim piece behind the t-shirt is 8 1/2 cm x 4cm.Delete
