A cute box of cards for Year of Cheer CTC#149

Hello and Welcome to another Sunday night of awesome, amazing, inspiration from our Sunday Night Blog hop CASEing the Catty - the fantastic Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue!!

And this week, the challenge inspiration springs from the Year of Cheer chapter - pages 36-47.

And I think the general theme for some of the team this week is all about those fabulous foil snowflakes!!

I've taken my inspiration from 2 places this week!!  First of all I wanted to use the fun pizza boxes and make a little set of cards using some of the ideas in this set on page 44.

I've used the Merry Music Specialty DSP for the background for all of my cards and box, and then used gold and pool party as my feature colours.

The stamping comes from the Merry Little Labels bundle which includes the great Everyday Label Punch - doesn't it look wonderful with the 2 punched shapes mounted over the top of each other!!

My inspiration for the design on the box lid comes from this sweet creation on page 45 (such a lovely inspiration picture that a few of the team have used this for inspiration!!)

Each of the cards uses a different greeting from the stamp set, but otherwise, they are all the same.  They feature the double mounted Everyday Label punch, the Merry Music DSP, and a piece of the foil snowflake.  I've added a little DSP onto the edge of the coordination 3" square envelopes.

I hope you've been inspired!!  I love all the projects cased by the team this week!!  We would love to see your version of CASEing the Catty with our challenge - just add your photo to our facebook challenge page here!!

And now, keep hopping around the team and continue to be inspired by everyone!!  I love the colours and elegance of Sandra's card this week!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

    2. Thankyou PETA. I had to remove my previous comment because your name came up as pets. Silly auto correct! I love these colours too. They turned out better than I expected.
