Multicoloured die cut technique for Colour INKspiration challenge

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!

The temptation was real to do lots of blending with this stunning image - but in the end I decided on a fun technique creating shaded cardstock for die cutting by colouring stripes using Stampin' Blends in all the colours.

I used the greens for the leaves, and the pinks for the flowers - how very ordinary!!

I've also used the lovely Granny Apple Green Two Tone cardstock which I've embossed using the Mini Corrugated embosssing folder, and then sanded it with some sandpaper!  BONUS - the TWO TONE cardstock on ON SPECIAL for these next 3 days - until Friday 11th!!  Get in Quick to nab some awesome and FUN papers!  SHOP NOW

This stamp set and dies are NEW in our Online Exclusives available THIS MONTH - and it's called Label me Grateful - and you can BUY it HERE

What do you think of the fun variation in colours for the die cuts?

Inside the card I've used the die cut stencil and coloured again using the Stampin' Blends in different colours.  Another fun colouring technique!!
